How to multiply fractions 

Equipment:

brain 

pencil

and paper 

Step 1

Firstly get your two fractions

example: 2/7 4/3

Step 2

 Times the top number by the top number also known as the numerator 

example: 2 X 4 = 8

Step 3 

do the same the dominator the bottom number 

example: 7 X 3 = 24

Step 4 

Now add the bottom answer and the top answer together 

example: 8/21 

How to simplify 

4/8	==>	2/4	==>	1/2
	(Four-Eighths)		(Two-Quarters)		(One-Half)
